Rapid technological advances and the normalization of virtual sessions during the worldwide quarantine of the COVID-19 pandemic have permanently changed the coaching landscape. While assisted stretching, spotting, and many assessments are not possible, most types of coaching meld well with the format. Virtual options will be discussed in the planning phase of any program and in-person sessions may be substituted for virtual sessions upon request.

Typically, most programs are a hybrid of in-person and virtual sessions. Wellness, nutrition, stretch, and cardio coaching sessions as well as check-ins are among the most popular to take advantage of the convenience and cost-effectiveness. For personal, medical, or geographical reasons, any plan or program can be modified to be completely virtual.
